From October 20–23, 2026, A+W Software will be exhibiting in Hall 14, Booth E59, how processes in flat glass processing can be organized more easily and better integrated. This year’s focus is on shipping optimization and logistics with A+W Smart Companion Dispatch and the A+W Logistics Optimizer. And since automation and AI are now almost as essential as coffee on a trade show day, A+W Glass Lab, A+W Smart Factory, and Mira will also be there.
Every two years the glass industry gathers in Düsseldorf, and for A+W Software, glasstec is far more than just a date on the calendar. It’s where new ideas are discussed, proven solutions get a second look, and the real pain points of everyday operations often come straight to the table. That’s exactly why we’re looking forward to being there again in 2026. We’ll showcase solutions that are already in use today and look at what could become standard practice in your operations tomorrow.
Closer to the Loading Dock with A+W Smart Companion Dispatch
When something goes wrong in shipping, it usually makes itself known long before the end of the day. Problems show up as follow-up questions, wasted time searching, and missing information. Shipping optimization is therefore not a dry, secondary topic, but a very practical tool for bringing more calm to day-to-day operations.
First unveiled as a design prototype in 2024, launched this year, and now ready for hands-on testing at glasstec: A+W Smart Companion Dispatch. This mobile solution supports shipping teams with order picking, loading, route overviews, and digital documentation directly on industrial scanners, smartphones, or tablets. Test the new software module at the booth and talk to Product Owner Tim Tobisch. And yes, he already has the next design prototype up his sleeve: A+W Smart Companion Delivery.
Focus on Logistics
What needs to go where and when? A+W Logistics Optimizer supports route planning, while also helping you clearly plan and track delivery processes. At the booth, you can run through specific scenarios and discuss them with product experts. This quickly reveals where there’s potential within your own operations.
Try Out Automation with A+W Glass Lab

In flat glass fabrication, automation is no longer a topic you can simply put off. Seamless processes, reliable data flows, and the integration of software and machinery are becoming increasingly important in day-to-day operations. At A+W Glass Lab, A+W Software demonstrates how machines, software, and data work together. We also showcase the capabilities of A+W Smart Factory. As a scalable production system, A+W Smart Factory helps control processes, improve glass throughput, and connect people, machines, software, and product.
Mira Makes Her glasstec Debut

Have you met Mira? Our artificial intelligence is making her first major appearance at glasstec. Previously known from webinars and videos, visitors can now experience Mira live at our booth. They can try out A+W Order Entry AI powered by Mira for themselves and see how the solution supports order entry. Mira processes order information, identifies relevant data, and helps make this data usable in the ERP system.
One program highlight will be the presentation by Sebastian Dick, Manager of Innovations at A+W Clarity, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the A+W booth. The presentation will focus on Mira, current AI developments, and the question of how artificial intelligence can truly be useful in everyday work.
Whether it’s shipping, logistics, automation, or AI: at the A+W booth, these topics won’t stay abstract. Visitors can experience solutions that are already in use today and see how they can make every day work easier. If you’d like to stay up to date follow us on LinkedIn.
