A+W plays party host on day two of GlassBuild America!

Published on 14 September 2017

The extended hours of GlassBuild America helped drive visitors to the floor of Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center late Wednesday. According to A+W Software Marketing Manager Dave Valancius, the majority of people were there to grow their business, conduct business with new prospects, or learn what the future of their industry looks like.

Because Hurricane Irma forced GlassBuild organizers to extend their hours Wednesday and Thursday, the show swelled with visitors starting late in the day. While things would normally wind down at 5 p.m., the party was just getting started.

“Everyone rolled up their sleeves and made Wednesday work no matter what the weather was like outside,” said Valancius. “We enjoyed a healthy flow of people who made A+W their priority stop

during the show.”

A+W moved its Wednesday evening cocktail reception to its booth (#3327) to make sure it didn’t miss out on visitors who, forced by the weather, were just showing up. They were able to relax with wine, beer, cheese, and a cake blazed with the A+W logo. Visitors also had an opportunity to meet with the company’s global power team: CEO Peter Dixen, President Andy Hodge, sales manager Paul Gray, and Luis Pla, sales manager who represents A+W in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
